Specialist in Provision (70–80 percent)

For our client, an association, we are looking for a Specialist in Provision (70–80 percent) For the life insurance department, we are looking for a team- and service-oriented personality starting 1. October 2026 or by agreement. In this challenging function at the interface between economy and politics, you will make an important contribution to the further development of the industry. You will actively help shape the future of Swiss life insurance. You will take over the content responsibility for current life insurance issues and accompany the further development of the regulatory environment – especially with regard to relevant law and ordinance revisions such as BVG, VVG and VAG. As a central contact person, you will support the department management in strategic committee work and represent the positions of our client externally. You will network with decision-makers, coordinate positions, and thus make a significant contribution to the further development of insurance in Switzerland. Your tasks • Processing of relevant specialist and regulatory questions for life insurers • Participation in consultations on law and ordinance changes and preparation of statements, proposals, concepts, and position papers • Proactive processing of political initiatives, from observation to evaluation to derivation of action requirements • Technical and organizational support of the commissions specialist topics life and legal questions life (including preparation and follow-up of commission meetings) Your profile • At least 6–10 years of professional experience in the life insurance or pension fund environment, or in related financial mathematical or regulatory fields • University degree in mathematics, economics, law (with a focus on insurance or financial market law) or as a pension fund expert or comparable qualification • Experience in dealing with complex regulatory issues as well as in preparing statements, concepts or position papers • Interest in association work, political processes, and the further development of the regulatory environment • Analytical, structured, and networked thinking as well as high conceptual abilities • High service orientation, social competence, and a professional, confident appearance • Very good communication skills and excellent written expression in German Our offer • Extremely varied range of tasks • Attractive employment conditions and good social benefits • Excellent connection to public transport • Employee restaurant • Place of work Zürich Enge
