With around 2400 employees, the Social Department of the City of Zürich works daily for a social Zürich. The newly created meeting point for women (opening days Thursday to Sunday) is affiliated with the Treffpunkt City (opening days Monday- Sunday) and offers a low-threshold place of stay for people in challenging life situations. With various offers in the areas of survival aid, counseling, and job card employment, we create a place of support and encounter. We are committed to ensuring they receive access to the resources and help they need. The division Schutz & Prävention operates the Treffpunkt City as well as the Treffpunkt for women within the city area. For both meeting points, we are looking for a new team member as of 1 October 2026 or by arrangement. Social Worker or Nursing Professional ## 60-80 % Tasks • Together with your team colleagues, you ensure an orderly everyday life in the two meeting points, provide offers in the area of survival aid, and contribute to a respectful and friendly atmosphere in the meeting points through professional relationship management. • When guiding our participants in job card employment, it is important to you to recognize and promote individual resources. You creatively look for ways to involve the participants in the everyday life of the meeting point. • You supervise and support our clients with crisis interventions, short counseling on everyday questions, and social work case management. • You take on departmental responsibility or deputy roles (e.g., leisure activities, infrastructure and safety, cash responsibility, practical instruction of students of social work) and more. • You participate in team meetings and also in supervisions.
