The Institute of Agricultural Sciences in the Department of Environmental Systems Science (D-USYS) deals with animal husbandry, plant sciences, and economics in the global and Swiss context of agriculture and conducts relevant basic and application-oriented research. We are looking for a committed person (workload 80-100%) who enjoys versatile agricultural work in a research-oriented environment. This position is to be filled from 01.01.2027 or by arrangement. It is initially limited to 12 months. Job Description ## Your main tasks include animal husbandry, fodder cultivation, landscape maintenance, and machine maintenance at the agricultural operation Früebüel. You document your work and your assessments of animal health electronically. You work closely in a team of agricultural employees as well as with the manager and with researchers, working together in a team to develop solutions for challenges. With your manual dexterity and attentive eye, you contribute to the optimal care and well-being of the animals as well as to the care and maintenance of the machines and facilities.
