As a Doorman, you are responsible for the following tasks: Greeting and supporting our guests upon arrival, including opening vehicle doors and accompanying them to the reception Presence in the lobby as well as operational support of the team in daily hotel operations Luggage service during check-in and check-out, including bringing and collecting luggage to/from guest rooms Safe parking of guest vehicles Representing the hotel as an ambassador of the Mandarin Oriental brand through professional and warm interaction with guests and employees Understanding and compliance with all applicable standards and guidelines of the Rooms Division regarding quality, sustainability, as well as FLHSS (Fire, Life, Health, Safety & Security) Active promotion of our guest recognition program "Fans of MO" to our guests As a Doorman, we expect from you: At least one year of professional experience as a Doorman or Bell Attendant Valid driver's license High sense of responsibility, teamwork, organizational talent, as well as good time management Strong communication skills – guests will approach you with complaints as well as with positive feedback Flexibility and resilience, as the position includes shifts on weekends and public holidays Excellent manners, a well-groomed appearance, a winning charisma, as well as a positive attitude Very good German and English skills; other foreign languages are an advantage Successful applicants must possess a valid work permit or the right to work in Switzerland.
