clothing designer, 80-100% (m/f/d)

tasks

• creation and further development of clothing patterns
• technical implementation of existing models and specifications
• creation and adjustment of pattern images as well as production patterns
• fit controls and corresponding pattern corrections
• grading of patterns for different sizes
• creation and maintenance of technical documents and pattern documentation
• accompaniment of sample parts and revision of patterns until production readiness
• close cooperation with production, product development and other internal departments
• assessment of fit, proportions and workmanship from a pattern engineering perspective
• implementation of changes and optimizations taking into account quality, fit and rational production
• the workload can, depending on preference, be between 80 and 100%

requirements

• you have training as a clothing designer / clothing designer EFZ or equivalent
• sound knowledge in pattern construction and fit
• experience with grading and technical production documents
• confident handling of common pattern technology / CAD systems
• good knowledge of garment processing and textile materials
• pronounced technical understanding and a good eye for fit and details
• additionally you enjoy working with coarse materials
• do you describe yourself as quality-conscious, independent and reliable?
