Tasks ###

• Analysis of customer and system requirements as well as creation of technical software specifications
• Development and implementation of powerful software solutions in C/C++ and Python
• Conception and further development of L2- and L3-VPN technologies for modern network infrastructures
• Integration of new software components into existing embedded systems
• Planning, execution and evaluation of unit, integration and system tests
• Documentation of software architecture, source code and test results in compliance with internal and regulatory standards
• Close collaboration in agile development teams according to Scrum or Kanban
• Participation in the evaluation and introduction of new technologies, tools and development processes in the embedded environment

Profile ###

• Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable technical education
• Solid experience in software development under Linux as well as solid knowledge in the field of network technologies
• Good knowledge of IP-based networks, routing protocols and Linux network architectures (e.g. Netlink)
• Interest and practical experience with VPN, routing and embedded technologies
• Secure handling of version control systems like Git as well as build tools like CMake and Make
• Good German and English language skills in word and writing
• Team-oriented, communicative personality with a self-dependent and solution-oriented way of working
