Technology has become one of the determining value drivers in mergers and acquisitions - it shapes transaction theses, influences valuation, creates integration and separation complexities, and ultimately determines how value is protected and delivered after closing. With AI accelerating change across all sectors, you will help clients translate technological opportunities, risks, and disruptions into informed transaction decisions and sustainable business value. How you will make a difference • Technological due diligence: Lead assessments of technological landscapes, applications, infrastructure, cloud, data, cybersecurity, operating models, and technology spend to identify risks and opportunities relevant to the transaction. • Technology strategy and value creation: Advise clients on technology strategy, the impact of AI, operating model design, and value creation opportunities throughout the transaction lifecycle. • Technological integrations and separations: Lead the planning of technological integration and separation, including Day 1 readiness, TSA considerations, target state design, and execution roadmaps. • Technology cost and synergy analysis: Evaluate technology costs, investment needs, synergies, and execution complexity while working closely with the transaction's financial and commercial teams. • Client leadership: Establish trusted relationships with senior executives, private equity investors, and technology leaders, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results. Profile sought • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for solving complex business and technology challenges. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technological topics into business insights at the executive level. • Bachelor's or Master's from a leading university. • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in mergers & acquisitions, technology strategy, technology transformation, transaction advisory, or a similar industrial role. • Excellent stakeholder management skills, curiosity for emerging technologies, particularly AI, and proficiency in English. German and/or French are desired.
