The "Finanzen + Services" business unit, with its experts, makes a significant contribution to the enforcement of legal bases and to the implementation of demanding projects in climate, health, and environmental protection. The interactive exchange and close cooperation with our business partners are an essential success factor of our work.

In the course of a succession solution, we are looking for reinforcement for the IT department starting from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

• Overall responsibility for the IT department and for its further development within the framework of the municipal digitalization strategy
• Organization and assurance of IT project management, information security and data protection, operations and life cycle management, as well as the further development of specialist applications
• Accompany and/or conduct supplier negotiations as well as participation in the preparation of supplier contracts
• Advising at all management levels regarding digitalization potentials
• Overall budget responsibility for IT operations and digitalization projects
• Active participation in municipal IT committees

Profile ##

• Completed studies in business administration with sound further training in the field of IT or completed studies in IT with business administration further training (HF/FH level)
• Several years of relevant practical experience in the areas of IT service management as well as in organizational and project management, ideally in a public law environment
• Proven many years of leadership experience in a similar position
• Proven in change processes, transformation and digitalization initiatives
• Very good knowledge of current IT standards
