On behalf of our client, a growing technology company, we are looking for an additional Accounting & Reporting professional to complement the Group Finance team at the headquarters in Zürich for an extremely exciting position: Finance Specialist with Controlling and Reporting Tasks / Finance Business Partner (IFRS) In this role, you are responsible for accounting, IFRS financial statements, controlling, reporting, and financial processes for the group companies assigned to you in the German-speaking region. These are your areas of impact: Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS Preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses Performing analyses and deriving concrete recommendations for action Preparation of management reports and KPI dashboards for up to 4 companies Further development of financial processes and digital transformation Sparring partner for the supervised companies and Group Finance Accompanying investment decisions and business cases Accompanying acquisition processes in due diligence and post-merger integration of new companies Supporting internal and external audits This is what you should bring: Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Finance and Accounting, Fiduciary, or Expert in Accounting and Controlling, Auditing, or comparable training Existing practical experience in operative accounting (bookkeeping), ideally in an SME environment IFRS knowledge Experience in working with SMEs and in communicating financial topics to non-finance-oriented stakeholders Enjoyment in approaching operative expenditures pragmatically and solution-oriented and maintaining both local and international cooperation at group level Very good oral and written German and English skills Very good Excel skills Advantageous (not a must) experience with Power-BI, M&A, and post-merger integration By the way, for the same company, we are also currently filling the vacancy as Group Finance and Accounting Lead (OR, IFRS, HGB); you may also want to look at this position on our homepage.
