Senior Network & Security Engineer 60-100%

For our client from the IT service environment, we are looking for a committed individual as a Senior Network & Security Engineer for a permanent position. In this role, you will work in a technologically demanding environment with a lot of creative freedom.

Your Skills

You have a solid education in the field of computer science or telecommunications and more than 8 years of experience in the network field

You bring sound know-how in Perimeter Security, Routing & Switching, VPN, TCP/IP, as well as certifications or training in the field of Cisco and Fortinet are present, knowledge of other manufacturers is a plus (or willingness to acquire certifications)

You are able to independently support and advise customers

You communicate with style in German and also feel confident in English, both written and spoken

You work independently, with a focus on quality, and convince through team spirit as well as analytical thinking

Your Tasks

You build up corporate networks for our customers and manage them

You support, maintain, and continuously develop complex network landscapes

You plan, design, and operate modern firewall, LAN, and WLAN infrastructures

You analyze malfunctions, resolve incidents independently, and control changes in the network environment

You develop automation solutions to increase efficiency in operations

You support the internal sales teams with your technical know-how in the pre-sales process
