Nursing Expert Intensive Care Unit MScN (Clinical Nurse Specialist), 80-100 %

For our interdisciplinary intensive care unit at the Waid location, we are looking for a committed, highly motivated and competent personality, effective immediately.

Tasks ##

• You promote and further develop person-centered practice as well as the clinical competencies of the nursing professionals.
• You advise and support the nursing professionals, e.g., in the context of case discussions, bedside teachings and nursing rounds - especially in complex and demanding situations.
• You develop evidence-based guidelines, ensure a successful transfer of theory into practice and conduct cross-site training.
• You accompany projects or change processes according to the leadership approach and ensure that they are effectively and sustainably anchored in practice.
• You work closely and cross-site with the team of nursing experts, network within Stadtspital Zürich and transfer overarching topics/guidelines to the intensive care unit setting.
• You are a member of the extended management team of the intensive care unit (Shared Governance).
• You participate in direct clinical patient care.

Profile ##

• Completed further training as an Expert in Intensive Care NDS HF with at least one year of practical professional experience
• Completed nursing science education (MScN) or ongoing studies
• High clinical competence and experience in intensive care
• Strong communication and motivation as well as commitment to the continuous development of the complex and dynamic specialist field
• Enjoyment of independent and responsible work as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary and interprofessional cooperation
