For our school swimming facilities (SSA) in Riedtli, we are looking for reinforcement as cleaning staff (10-15 %) on an hourly wage basis, immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

• As part of a team, you will clean the swimming hall, all changing rooms, as well as shower and side rooms using special cleaning agents, in compliance with our high hygienic guidelines.
• You will carry out the following assignments during school weeks: during the week in the evening, 21.00 to approx. 23.00 (maintenance cleaning) and/or at the weekend (Saturday afternoon four hours deep cleaning or on Sunday two hours each from 17.00).
• During school holidays, you will assist with holiday cleaning and main cleaning and are also willing to provide holiday and sickness cover.
• Possible assignments: SSA Riedtli in Unterstrass: Saturday (4 hours) and, if suitable, further assignments possible - limited until the end of 2026.

Profile ##

• ideally several years of experience in cleaning
• flexibility, trustworthiness and reliability
• experience in working independently, dutifully and precisely and high quality standards (thorough cleaning)
• good oral German skills as well as good physical constitution (temperature in SSA approx. 30° with high humidity)
• joy in making a contribution so that children can be taught in a clean and hygienic environment

About us ##

The Sportamt is a service department of the Schul- und Sportdepartement of the Stadt Zürich. It is the competence center for sports promotion and provides the sports-enthusiastic population and clubs with sports facilities, including indoor and outdoor pools. The organization of mandatory sports and swimming lessons as well as voluntary school sports are also among the core tasks of the Sportamt. It ensures that children and young people in the Stadt Zürich have access to need-based spaces for sports and movement.
