Specialist Volunteer Work (80%)

The Schweizerisches Rotes Kreuz (SRK) Kanton Zürich fulfills important humanitarian tasks on site in the areas of everyday support, education, and migration/social integration. More than 2'400 volunteers are engaged with us for people in the Kanton Zürich. They make a decisive contribution to our services and help shape our organization. For this commitment to have a sustainable effect, professional framework conditions, specialist support, and a culture of cooperation are required.  In your role, you will professionally develop volunteer work, support volunteer coordinators, and bring themes of cooperation into practice. You combine specialist development, consulting, and networking, and contribute to ensuring that volunteer work is sustainably anchored in the organization. What you will achieve with us  ### • You will professionally develop the volunteer work of the SRK Kanton Zürich, orienting yourself towards current trends, standards, and societal developments  • You will design volunteer programs, concepts, and projects in a practical manner and support their successful implementation in the specialist departments  • You will support and advise volunteer coordinators on specialist issues and strengthen their operational certainty in everyday life  • You will design and moderate further training, workshops, and exchange formats for volunteers and employees  • You will further develop standards, processes, and instruments in volunteer management and ensure their effective anchoring  • You will maintain internal and external networks and represent the SRK Kanton Zürich in specialist committees and exchange forums  • You will actively participate in organizational and cultural development processes and contribute the perspective of volunteer work, cooperation, and participation  • You will support the conception, introduction, and sustainable implementation of selected strategic projects How you convince us  ### • University degree in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Sociocultural Animation, Non-Profit Management, or a comparable field of study  • Alternatively, completed vocational training with corresponding further training and sound professional experience in the specialist field  • Several years of experience in volunteer management, ideally in a non-profit organization or in a social environment  • Experience in the development of concepts, programs, or projects  • Enjoyment of consulting, networking, and working with different stakeholders  • Further training in organizational development, process support, coaching, or change management  • Experience in adult education, moderation, or group facilitation is an advantage  • Analytical and conceptual way of thinking as well as the ability to translate ideas into practical solutions  • Independent, structured, and responsible way of working  • High value orientation as well as sensitivity to different life realities and cultural backgrounds  • Very good German skills; other languages are a plus What we offer you ### Fruit basket, modern working environment, and 6 weeks of vacation?
