Counselor Victim Support (70-80 %)

The counseling center castagna is a victim counseling center recognized by the Canton of Zürich. We advise, accompany, and support people who have experienced sexualized violence in their childhood or youth, as well as their contact persons and professionals. Furthermore, we are committed to raising public awareness and promoting professional engagement with the consequences of sexualized violence in childhood and youth.

As of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement, we are looking for a new colleague to strengthen our counseling team.

Your tasks

• Psychosocial and legal counseling of those affected as well as their contact persons
• Crisis intervention
• Accompanying in criminal proceedings
• Counseling of professionals
• Clarifications, mediations, and triages within the framework of victim support
• Cooperation and networking with specialized agencies and authorities
• Administrative and organizational activities
• Public relations work
• Conducting further training

We wish for

• Completed studies in Social Work, Psychology, or a comparable field of study
• Several years of professional experience in psychosocial counseling as well as completed further training in the counseling or psychotherapeutic field
• Specialist knowledge in the field of sexualized violence
• Knowledge of victim support law or a completed CAS Opferhilfe
• Ability to work in a team, resilience, and flexibility

An open, appreciative cooperation, in which every person can contribute their perspectives, experiences, and strengths, is important to us.

A prerequisite for an application is a completed degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a comparable field of study. Unfortunately, applications without the corresponding basic education cannot be considered in the selection process.
