Tasks

• Technical responsibility for the stable and secure operation of our central specialist applications and medical IT devices over the entire life cycle
• Planning, coordination and monitoring of maintenance work, releases, updates and changes in cooperation with internal and external partners
• Coordination of ICT requirements between the departments, the central IT and external suppliers
• Analysis of complex malfunctions, coordination of the remedy and ensuring sustainable processing
• Analysis and targeted further development of existing technical and organizational processes
• Guaranteeing complete and up-to-date documentation
• Ensuring compliance with relevant specifications in the areas of information security, data protection and compliance
• Close cooperation with the functional application responsibility
• Participation in ICT projects as well as in the introduction and replacement of specialist applications

Profile

• Completed studies (FH or university) in computer science, business informatics or ICT
• Several years of experience in technical application management
• Confident handling of IT service management processes, especially incident, problem, change and release management
• Sound knowledge in the operation and support of business-critical specialist applications as well as in the interaction of applications, interfaces and ICT infrastructure
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
• Experience in working with system suppliers and external ICT service providers
• Good understanding of business processes as well as the ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions and contexts
• Knowledge in the areas of information security, data protection and compliance is an advantage
• Strong analytical, conceptual and structured skills
• Communication and coordination strength as well as enjoyment in working with different stakeholders
• Independent, reliable and responsible way of working
• Strong understanding of quality and processes

In this versatile and responsible position, you will work closely with our system suppliers, the central IT of the UZH as well as the functional application responsibility and form an important interface between the departments and the ICT. With your technical and procedural know-how, you will make a significant contribution to the stability, security and further development of our ICT services and support the efficient design of processes in our clinics and central services. The employment is on cantonal terms.
