Welt ohne Minen is a non-profit foundation based in Zürich, which has been dedicated to landmine clearance and raising awareness among affected people for 30 years. The foundation is currently active in Kambodscha, Sri Lanka, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Südsudan, Angola, Zimbabwe, and the Gaza Strip, and is committed until a region can be returned mine-free to the local population. For our office, we are looking for a committed, communicative personality for the co-leadership with a focus on fundraising and communication, starting January 1, 2027, or by arrangement. Managing Director Co-Leadership 60-80 % Together with the current Co-Managing Director, you will significantly shape the office, from the fundraising strategy and fundraising to office administration. A versatile role awaits you with strategic design scope, direct impact, and real social added value. Your tasks • Further development, optimization, and implementation of our fundraising strategy • Maintenance of direct marketing activities and targeted expansion of the portfolio of major donors, foundations, family offices, and institutional funders • Building and expanding the legacy area • Responsibility for marketing, external appearance, and digital fundraising channels (social media, online media) • Donation administration including further development of our CRM tool (knowledge of Funtrade is an advantage) • Networking with partners and actors in the field of humanitarian mine clearance, fundraising, and foundation management • Representation of the foundation in national and international umbrella organizations as well as at congresses • Preparation and recording of the foundation board meetings, operational co-responsibility for the office, as well as general administrative activities • Deputy for the Co-Management Your profile • Higher education in philanthropy, fundraising, communication, or comparable • Several years of experience in fundraising with demonstrable successes (major donations, legacies, foundations) • Sound experience in the NPO/NGO environment as well as a corresponding network • Proficient use of CRM systems and digital fundraising tools • Strategic thinking combined with a pragmatic, hands-on way of working • Convincing, sociable personality with negotiation skills • Very good German, French, and English skills • Ability to work in a team, initiative, and flexibility We offer • A strategically important role with a lot of design scope and individual responsibility • A meaningful activity with direct impact in the field of humanitarian mine clearance • A varied area of responsibility in a small, committed team • Attractive, contemporary employment conditions • A central workplace near Hauptbahnhof Zürich Contact & Application For questions, we are happy to assist you at bewerbung@wom.ch.
