PROJECT MANAGER DESIGN AND PROJECT PLANNING 80-100%

With us, 100% corresponds to a 38-hour week.

For our projects, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager Design and Project Planning who combines conceptual thinking, design ambition, and sound knowledge of Swiss construction processes.

You develop projects from studies and competitions through preliminary and construction projects, manage the planning process independently, and work together with our team to ensure that a strong idea turns into a convincing and realizable project.

ABOUT US

We are SCHIBLIHOLENSTEIN ARCHITEKTEN, an owner-managed architectural firm with around 16 employees in the middle of Zürich.

We design, plan, and realize new builds and renovations for private, cooperative, institutional, and public clients. Design, project planning, execution planning, and construction management work closely together at our firm. We think architecture further, from the first thought to the built reality.

YOUR ROLE

• you lead projects independently from the study through preliminary and construction projects to the permit and ideally into realization
• you develop architectural concepts and further develop them spatially, functionally, and constructively
• you control the planning process and keep quality, deadlines, and requirements in view
• you coordinate specialist planners, internal project participants, and external planning partners
• you conduct the exchange with clients and authorities
• you process building law and normative requirements and naturally integrate them into the design
• you lead and support employees within the project team

WHAT YOU BRING

• a completed architecture degree ETH/FH or equivalent
• at least 5 years of experience in project management, design, and project planning in Switzerland
• strong conceptual and spatial thinking as well as a high design ambition
• very good knowledge of Swiss construction legislation, standards, and regulations
• confidence in dealing with permit procedures, authorities, and specialist planners
• very good ArchiCAD knowledge and confident use of common representation and visualization programs
• an independent, structured, and responsible way of working
• joy in driving projects forward and developing solutions together
• very good German skills
