For our client, an established Swiss industrial company in the field of mechanical engineering, plant engineering and industrial system solutions, we are looking for a technically savvy, structured and solution-oriented personality as Mechanical Engineer 80-100% (m/f) in the Zurich ZH area.

The company develops, plans and realizes demanding plant solutions for international industrial customers. The focus is on complex technical systems, precise engineering, high quality standards and close cooperation between mechanics, automation, project management, purchasing, assembly and commissioning.

In this function, you will take on a central role in the mechanical engineering of complex industrial plants. You will work on technical solutions that are used worldwide, combining constructive understanding with project orientation, international cooperation and high technical precision.

Your Task ##

• Development, design and constructive processing of mechanical assemblies, components and plant areas
• Creation and review of technical concepts, specifications, layouts, drawings and bills of materials
• Mechanical engineering for international plant engineering projects in an industrial environment
• Technical clarifications with internal specialist departments, suppliers, customers and international project teams
• Support in project execution, engineering reviews, design checks and technical optimizations
• Creation, control and maintenance of technical documentation, calculations and project data
• Cooperation with automation, process engineering, purchasing, production, assembly, commissioning and project management
• Evaluation and implementation of customer requirements, standards, safety specifications and quality standards
• Support in supplier clarifications, technical comparisons and procurement processes
• Accompanying improvements, standardizations and further developments of existing plant solutions

Your Profile ##

• Degree as a Mechanical Engineer FH/ETH, Mechanical Engineer, Technician HF Mechanical Engineering or comparable technical training
• Experience in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, special machine construction or industrial engineering environments
• Good knowledge of mechanical design, dimensioning, technical drawings and documentation
• Experience with 3D CAD systems and engineering tools is an advantage
• Understanding of plant layouts, assemblies, production, assembly and commissioning
• Ability to cleanly analyze technical requirements and develop practical solutions
• Experience in international project work or in exchange with suppliers and customers is an advantage
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
• Independent, reliable and solution-oriented way of working
• Team-oriented personality with technical quality awareness
