Your main tasks

Alarm Center

• Recording and triaging incoming alarms and making the necessary dispositions
• Monitoring building and area security using camera systems
• Operation and administration of the parking guidance system
• Maintaining the event log and creating mission reports
• Coordination of emergency services and helicopter landings as well as disposition in the event of an incident and crisis (FaoL)

Field Service

• Helpfulness towards internal and external customers
• Proportional enforcement of house and traffic rules on the hospital grounds as well as ensuring peace and order
• Intervention in cases of aggression and threat situations
• Preventive control activities in the USZ buildings and on the hospital grounds
• Executing special assignments

Your profile

• Completed vocational training EFZ, ideally in a technical profession. A federal specialist certificate in the field of security (FSB or FPO) is a great advantage. We also welcome it if you already bring experience from the security area of a hospital.
• At least 5 years of proven professional experience in personal/object protection and/or in an alarm center is a mandatory requirement.
• Swiss citizenship, a settlement permit C or a residence permit B (EU/EFTA) is also a basic requirement.
• German at level C1 with a secure understanding of the Swiss German language. Further language skills are very welcome.
• Technical understanding as well as confident handling of IT systems and MS Office.
• Physically and mentally resilient, responsible, and team-oriented personality.
• Sovereign appearance in conflict and stress situations with de-escalating behavior.
• Driver's license Cat. B as well as an impeccable reputation: criminal and debt enforcement register extracts are to be submitted no later than the trial service.
