Ice rink employees Permanent position Sportamt The Bathing and Ice Facilities division is responsible for the operation of 21 indoor and outdoor pools as well as two ice facilities with around 350 employees. Every year, more than two million visitors use our facilities. To complement our twelve-member team at the Kunsteisbahn Oerlikon, we are looking for a flexible and service-oriented personality as Ice rink employees, 80-100 % Tasks You prepare the ice surfaces for various user groups, ensure their care, and guarantee a safe and smooth operation of the facility. You carry out cleaning, maintenance, and repair work as well as minor repairs. You operate and monitor the technical facilities as well as the machinery and ensure their professional care. You provide first aid in the event of accidents and medical emergencies and support the operational emergency organization. You advise our diverse clientele competently and provide information. Profile A completed vocational apprenticeship in a manual or technical field as well as professional experience in technical operational maintenance, preferably in the operation of sports facilities or in a comparable environment Ideally training as an Ice rink employee (EIKU) or the willingness to complete this Experience in building technology (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitary or electrical) as well as technical understanding and enjoyment in dealing with facilities and machines A category B driver's license as well as very good German skills and enjoyment of customer contact Willingness for seasonal shift, evening, and weekend work We offer A versatile and responsible activity in a lively sports environment awaits you.
