Location: Kanton Zürich
For a modern IT environment, we are looking for an experienced specialist who actively participates in the further development and stable operation of a complex cloud platform. In this role, you will be responsible for the architecture, operation, and optimization of a highly available infrastructure environment and work closely with various technical teams.
Tasks

• You will be responsible for the operation and further development of a complex cloud platform, ensuring its stability, scalability, and performance.
• You will actively participate in shaping the architecture of the OpenStack environment and drive its continuous optimization.
• You will plan and implement automation and deployment solutions in the infrastructure environment.
• You will analyze and resolve complex technical issues in 2nd- and 3rd-level support.
• You will participate in architecture and technology decisions and actively contribute your technical expertise.
• You will work closely with internal infrastructure and specialist departments and support knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

• Completed degree in computer science or equivalent education/training
• Several years of experience in designing and operating OpenStack environments
• In-depth knowledge of Linux systems
• Experience with container technologies
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code
• Experience with Ansible
• Experience with OpenTofu or Terraform
• Very good understanding of distributed systems
• Knowledge of network and storage architectures
• Experience in 2nd- and 3rd-level support
• Analytical and structured approach to work
• High problem-solving competence
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Very good German language skills (C1)
• Good English language skills
• Willingness to be on standby duty
