Mediothekar:in 50 - 75% The Literargymnasium Rämibühl is a long-term gymnasium that offers the classical and modern language maturity profiles as well as the PPP profile (Philosophy/Pedagogy/Psychology). Additionally, the bilingual maturity with the double degree International Baccalaureate IB / Maturity can be obtained. The Literargymnasium is located centrally near the Zurich universities in the midst of the green Rämibühl park. As of September 1, 2026 or by agreement, a position as Mediothekar:in with special tasks (mbA) 50-75% is to be filled. In this versatile function, you combine classical library work with individual support for students and teachers. You create an attractive learning and meeting place, promote information and media literacy, and support young people in successfully achieving their learning and work goals. Your tasks ### • Care and further development of the media library as a learning, work and meeting place • Advice on research, information and media questions • Media selection, procurement, cataloging and inventory management • Organization of lending and all administrative processes • Introduction of students to digital offers and research tools • Support in building learning and working skills • Promotion of digital skills (especially with regard to AI applications) • Planning and implementation of events and workshops on school-related but also leisure-related topics • Close cooperation with teachers, school management and external specialists Your profile ### • Training in the field of information and documentation, library science, pedagogy or a comparable qualification • Professional experience in a library, media library or educational institution is an advantage • Further education or experience in coaching and/or learning support • Enjoyment of working with young people and teachers • Pronounced communication, consulting and social skills • High affinity for digital media and information systems (e.g. winMedio) • Independent, structured and solution-oriented work • Open, creative personality with pleasure in further developing the media library as a modern learning, work and meeting place Our offer ### You can expect a versatile and responsible activity with a lot of design scope, in which you can bring in your own initiative and actively implement innovative ideas and projects.
