Consultant FinfraG / Journalling! Our client is a bank based in Zürich with a sophisticated trading environment. In the context of an audit finding in the area of FinfraG / Journalling, an experienced consultant is sought to combine technical, regulatory, and technological requirements and to responsibly accompany the sustainable remediation of the finding until the end of the year. The search is for a project assignment starting no earlier than 01.08.2026 as: Consultant FinfraG / Journalling - Securities Trading (m/f) # YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY In your role, you assume responsibility for the analysis, conception, and coordination of a regulatory project in the area of FinfraG, particularly in connection with journalling requirements according to Article 38 FinfraG. You work closely with the Trading, Audit, Compliance, and IT departments and ensure that the regulatory requirements are correctly understood, documented, and transferred into a viable implementation concept. In doing so, you coordinate the alignment between the involved stakeholders, structure the requirements, and are responsible for the technical conception to remediate the audit finding. With your understanding of securities trading, data models, data flows, and system interdependencies, you make a decisive contribution to sustainable and audit-proof implementation. Furthermore, you accompany the implementation, support testing, documentation, and evidence, and ensure clear communication between the business department, Audit, and IT. YOUR PERSONALITY You possess demonstrable experience in the area of FinfraG, ideally with concrete implementation experience regarding Article 38 FinfraG and journalling. You bring a good understanding of securities trading as well as trading-related processes and can translate regulatory requirements into practical technical and IT-oriented concepts. A solid understanding of data models, data flows, and interfaces is central to this role. You are accustomed to coordinating between business departments, Audit, Compliance, and IT and preparing complex issues in a structured manner. Your way of working is analytical, independent, solution-oriented, and binding. You communicate confidently at different levels, take responsibility, and maintain an overview even in a regulated and time-critical environment. Experience in Swiss banks or in the financial services environment is an advantage; multiple successfully implemented FinfraG or journalling mandates are a big plus. YOUR PERSPECTIVES You take on a technically demanding mandate in a bank-related trading environment with high regulatory relevance. In doing so, you participate in the remediation of a concrete audit finding and make a visible contribution to the sustainable implementation of FinfraG/journalling requirements. The assignment starts no earlier than 01.08.2026, is expected to last around 6 months, and is planned with a workload of 100%. The place of work is Zürich.
