Your Role ## As a Computer Scientist in the field of Platform Development, you are a specialist for the construction and operation of IT infrastructures. You install and configure server systems, networks as well as software and automate processes with scripts and tools. In doing so, you work in the areas of planning, installation, operation and maintenance of IT systems and their applications. During the four years of apprenticeship, you will take care of hardware and software - from individual devices to networked system landscapes. This also includes identifying, analyzing and rectifying faults. In addition, you perform updates and coordinate hardware repairs with external partners if necessary.
