With around 2400 employees, the Social Department of the City of Zürich works daily for a social Zürich. We are there for everyone and support children, young people and adults in different life situations. We make an important contribution to social cohesion. And we contribute to a high quality of life in the neighborhoods. The Social Services ensure with their work in the five social centers that the people in the City of Zürich can rely on effective basic social care. For our social center Albisriederhaus we are looking for reinforcement as of 01. September 2026 or by agreement. Social Worker*in Adult Profile 60 % Tasks • You advise and accompany adult clients in financial and social difficulties and seek ways for sustainable professional and social integration together with them. • You work poly- or monovalently: You provide economic social assistance and/or conduct civil law mandates for adults. There's plenty of variety! • You document your work in a comprehensible manner in a case management system. • You are administratively supported by clerks, can draw on the knowledge of internal specialist offices, and work closely with your colleagues in the team. Profile • University of applied sciences degree in Social Work • Professional experience in providing economic social assistance and/or conducting mandates in adult protection.
