With a dedicated team of FSI experts, we provide integration and separation advisory services, lead complex missions with our clients, and deploy deep functional expertise in finance, human resources, commercial, and technology. At Deloitte, we support our clients in end-to-end M&A advisory, working closely with our colleagues in transaction services, valuations, and corporate finance. As an integral part of the Strategy, Risk and Transactions business line, we also collaborate with our peers in Strategy, Sustainability, Regulatory, Forensics and Technology to ensure a seamless and value-driven approach to transactions. How you will make a difference • M&A integration and separation leadership: adopting a forward-looking approach and methodologies tailored to client situations, to lead complex M&A separations and integrations. • M&A value creation: performing and overseeing operational and financial analyses to assess synergies, impact, and the complexities of carve-outs, as well as the potential for improving the standalone performance of corporate acquisitions and divestitures. • Exceptional client service: advising clients through Deloitte's offerings, building and maintaining strong relationships, while leading engagement teams to provide exceptional client service, respecting quality and rigorous methodology. • Proximity to management: developing your ability to lead conversations with client CXOs, translating ideas into concrete solutions, and becoming the client's preferred contact for delivery transformation. • Project scope and execution: defining, planning, allocating resources and executing the project scope; managing expectations and deadlines with clients, ensuring high-quality deliverables. • Team leadership and development: inspiring and guiding team members to reach their full potential, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence in project execution. • Analytical and AI solutions: providing strategic insights, advice and deploying advanced analytical and artificial intelligence solutions. Profile sought • Demonstrated experience in the FSI sector, entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter attitude, high motivation to lead and develop, with the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and evolving priorities. • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on strategic decision-making and attention to detail, as well as a proven ability to simplify complex concepts, create executive-level narratives and effectively synthesize value. • Bachelor's or master's degree from top universities with exceptional academic results. • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in M&A in advisory or industry roles, with clear experience in one of our main sectors, namely banking, wealth management and insurance. • Strong sense of project and stakeholder management, with high-quality skills in Excel, PowerPoint and executive storytelling. • Aptitude for AI technologies and a strong interest in integrating AI solutions into our offerings to improve client results and drive innovation. • Proficiency in English, excellent interpersonal skills and experience working within an international community.
