PR Assistant PR Assistant (m/f/d) at Jugendherbergen The Jugendherbergen association network consists of 44 owned and 7 partner youth hostels, ranging from romantic castles to urban design operations to wellness hostels. The nonprofit organization achieves around 820,000 overnight stays annually. The focus is on quality-conscious, sustainable, and affordable youth and family tourism. To complement our team at the headquarters in Zürich, we are looking for support in the Marketing & Communications department immediately or by arrangement. Your tasks Active collaboration in the implementation of media and public relations, in coordination with the Head of Communications Proactive topic research and journalistic preparation for various channels Independent writing of media releases, argumentation papers, presentations, as well as media-oriented texts Handling and processing of media inquiries as well as ongoing media monitoring Planning, organization, and accompaniment of media trips and media events Support of the marketing team in the editorial preparation of topics and texts for the website, the blog, and the social media channels Close cooperation with internal interfaces as well as an external PR agency Reporting, analysis, and classification of media trends and industry developments Your profile You have training or a degree in the field of communication, media, or marketing and have already gained initial professional experience in media and public relations. You move confidently when dealing with media professionals and know the dynamics of professional media work. You also bring experience in the conception, organization, and implementation of events as well as media appointments and write with style, precision, and target-group appropriateness, and have a strong sense for relevant topics. You know how to place content strategically and prepare it in a media-friendly manner. Even in more hectic situations, you remain calm, set clear priorities, and ensure a qualitatively convincing implementation. You have excellent oral and written German skills. You speak and write French fluently or you are bilingual (DE/FR). Good English skills are an advantage. Enthusiasm for tourism and digital channels completes your profile.
