Employee in Household Management, 80 - 100%

In the heart of vibrant Kreis 4 in Zürich, we offer in the Quartieraltersheim Aussersihl a place for people who have difficulty seeing structures as a help. In their daily lives, they need support, care and/or accompaniment, mainly in social and partly in nursing areas. Carried by an independent, private and non-profit foundation, it offers space for 48 residents.

To strengthen our household management team, we are looking for an employee in household management, 80 - 100%, immediately or by agreement.

As an employee in household management, you are jointly responsible for a pleasant living atmosphere and cleanliness in the residents' rooms, public areas and facilities. You cultivate an appreciative interaction with the residents.

Your tasks:

• Professional maintenance and basic cleaning of the residents' rooms as well as in the public areas.
• The assigned rooms are cleaned independently according to the deployment plan and in compliance with economic and operational hygiene regulations and cleaning guidelines.
• Preparation and care of the entire operational and professional laundry as well as the private laundry of the residents.

Your profile:

In addition to your EFZ or EBA training, you have professional experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility and bring good German language skills. You are a service provider and work gladly independently and in a team. You are committed, work carefully and your way of working is structured.

What to expect:

• Good introduction to the varied activities
• 38-hour week
• 5, 6 or 7 weeks of vacation (depending on age)
• Working hours according to plan, 6 - 8.4 hours a day, approximately one weekend per month
• Working in a small team
• Central workplace near Helvetiaplatz
