Position: Avionics Systems Engineer
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Contract: Permanent contract, full-time position

Key Responsibilities
Capture and analyze system requirements, assessing feasibility and contributing to early system architecture and concept definition
Coordinate the design, development, integration, verification, and certification of complex avionics systems
Support system integration activities and ensure compliance with applicable aviation regulations
Prepare and review system requirements documentation and certification engineering reports
Perform and review System Safety Assessments, including Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA) and related safety studies
Interface with external suppliers, customers, procurement teams, and certification authorities on technical matters
Contribute to technology development and innovation initiatives within avionics programs
Provide engineering support to production, integration, and customer support teams when required
Our Ideal Candidate Should Have
University Degree in Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 10 years of experience in aerospace or other safety-critical industries working in systems engineering and avionics development
Proven experience in the design and development of integrated avionics systems
Experience in military aviation environments is considered an advantage
Knowledge of tactical communication systems, datalink technologies (e.g., Link 16), and radar systems is a strong plus
Familiarity with avionics systems such as EFIS, FMS, or Flight Control Systems (FCS)
Exposure to Electronic Warfare (EW), Electronic Countermeasure (ECM), or weapon system integration is beneficial
Working knowledge of FAA, EASA, or military aviation certification frameworks
Fluent English (C1) is required, German language skills are considered an advantage
