Interior Architect, Project Management (80-100-%)

We are looking for an interior architect with a passion for continuing to build within existing structures. You will be responsible for renovation and interior fit-out projects across all planning phases, combining design conviction with constructive precision and leading complex projects in existing buildings from the concept and design phase to completion. What awaits you: • Participation in studies, preliminary, and construction projects involving building in existing structures through renovation, expansion, repurposing, and transformation. The focus is on interior space, materialization, and interior fit-out. • Responsibility for the conceptual, execution, and detailed planning of the interior fit-out, as well as the creation of tender documents according to SIA standards. • Processing of cost estimates, cost control (Deltabaucost), scheduling, and construction management for renovation projects. • Independent project management from existing structure analysis to the space and material concept, through to execution and acceptance. • Combination of design quality and constructive understanding. Precisely developing spaces further, applying material and detail with care, and transitioning the existing structure into the next phase of use. • Close cooperation in a small, interdisciplinary team with direct exchange and short decision-making paths. What you bring with you: • Completed degree in Interior Architecture (BA/MA). A solid constructive basic education (Draftsperson/Zeichner/in EFZ specialty Architecture) is an advantage. • At least 6 years of professional experience in Switzerland as well as sound knowledge of SIA standards (especially SIA 102 and SIA 118). • Proven experience in building within existing structures, particularly in renovations, repurposing, and demanding interior fit-outs. • Ability to read, evaluate, and precisely develop existing spaces and substances. • High standards for design, material, and detail, as well as enthusiasm for design quality in the context of existing structures. • Very good knowledge of Vectorworks 2026 (3D) as well as experience with Deltabaucost, Affinity Photo 2, Affinity Publisher 2, and Asana Project Management. • Very good German skills in speaking and writing (at least level C1) as well as good English skills (at least level B2). • Independent working style, team spirit, and enjoyment of direct, collegial cooperation.
