Project Management «WohnFit - Contact Point for Apartment Search» 80% The «WohnFit» project offers support to poverty-affected individuals in their apartment search. The goal of the offer is to make a contribution to equal opportunities on the Zürich housing market. In the low-threshold contact points, volunteers develop search strategies with the target group, prepare application documents, and ensure access to digital devices and skills. Specialist staff advise on precarious living situations. In the «WohnFit» project, practical knowledge is used specifically to achieve improvements for poverty-affected individuals in the housing sector at the structural level. Due to a personnel change, we are looking for a committed project manager (80%) as of October 1, 2026, or by agreement. Your tasks • Responsibility for the operational implementation of the «WohnFit» project • Recruitment, training, and support of volunteers • Clarification, triage, and specialist advice for poverty-affected individuals • Conception, implementation, and further development of the contact points • Public relations, advocacy, and political lobbying at the interface of housing and poverty • Collaboration in fundraising • Results and budget responsibility • Project documentation, evaluation, and controlling • Leadership of an employee Our requirements You have in-depth knowledge of the Zürich housing market and are interested in housing policy and social urban development. Additionally, you bring: • University degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, or a comparable field with a focus on social space • Experience in project and volunteer management, ideally also in personnel management • Enjoyment of advising apartment seekers and organizing and coordinating contact points • Willingness for regular evening shifts (every Monday) • Calmness and flexibility in dynamic situations • Confident appearance and pronounced ability to convey complex facts in a target group-oriented manner • Secure German language skills in writing and speaking; knowledge of other languages is an advantage The place of work is Zürich.
