Med. Praxisassistent/Praxisassistentin 80 - 100% # Judicial enforcement and reintegration (JuWe) is, as part of the Directorate of Justice and Home Affairs of the Canton of Zürich, responsible for the execution of sentences and measures, as well as the implementation of various types of detention. For our 1'400 employees from around 40 professions, the successful social reintegration of people who have committed crimes and the prevention of recidivism are of particular importance. As part of the Zürich remand prisons (UGZ), the Winterthur prison (GFW) assumes central tasks in the area of detention without a verdict. The focus is on investigative and security detention, as well as the admission of persons in provisional custody. A total of 101 detention places are available for this purpose. The Medical Service department ensures the medical-somatic basic care for the detained persons in all judicial institutions of the Canton of Zürich. As a central organizational unit, it guarantees a harmonized and high-quality health care according to the equivalence principle and works closely with the Psychiatric-Psychological Service and the JuWe institutions.
