As part of a long-term project mission, you will assume technical responsibility for the maintenance and engineering of telecommunications and telecontrol infrastructures. Your main tasks • Technical maintenance and engineering of telecommunications and telecontrol infrastructures • Development of data transmission, communication and telecontrol systems as well as creation of system architectures and concepts (notably WAN, telephony and telecontrol technology) • Carrying out studies, requirement specifications, preliminary designs as well as cost and effort estimations for new constructions and renovations • Technical support for project management in the field of telecommunications and telecontrol technology • Support for operations (level 1 and 2 support) for fault analysis • Ensure implementation in accordance with the occupational safety, health and environmental protection management system Your profile • Bachelor's or Master's degree in telecommunications or equivalent technical training (e.g. HF technician) • 4 to 5 years of professional experience in the field of telecommunications • Very good knowledge of relevant communication technologies (FO, WDM, IP, MPLS, VoIP, etc.) • Good knowledge of secondary technology in transformation stations • Experience in planning, implementation, commissioning, maintenance or operation of telecommunications systems • Analytical and structured working method with the ability to present complex topics clearly • Team personality, flexible and autonomous • Languages: German (native language), French or Italian (basic knowledge desired), English (basic knowledge) • Proficiency in SharePoint, incident ticketing systems and Microsoft Office What we offer • Long-term and stable project mission at a leading company in the Swiss energy sector • Exciting and technically demanding tasks in the field of critical infrastructures • Possibility of development in future technological fields Start date: from October / November 2026 Working time: 100% Workplace: region of Zurich / canton of Aargau Please send us your application documents electronically to jobs@kurath.ch
