Your tasks Support in the renewal and continuous further development of the natural catastrophe portfolio of DR Swiss. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of reinsurance contracts using natural hazard models, assessment of model results, and determination of risk exposure at the contract level. Support of market underwriting in underwriting decisions through sound risk analyses. Participation in analysis and modeling at the portfolio level and support of natural hazard accumulation control. Participation in professional exchange with brokers and customers within the framework of renewal preparations and contract negotiations. Engagement in cross-departmental projects within the Deutsche Rück Gruppe. Your profile Completed studies in geosciences, physics, mathematics or in a comparable technical course of study. Professional experience in property reinsurance, preferably in an analytical function. Experience with common natural hazard models in reinsurance (Moody’s RMS, Verisk etc.) is desirable. Programming skills (e.g., R or comparable) as well as SQL knowledge; willingness to independently develop and further develop software tools. Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a structured way of working; willingness to work deeply into new topics.
