What you can contribute

• Investigate cases concerning criminal organizations (art. 260ter CP)
• Direct investigative procedures in the police and criminal procedure field, including all coercive measures and consultations in Switzerland and abroad
• Take charge of all possible surveillance measures within the framework of criminal proceedings
• Direct and conduct police operations
• Conduct interviews and write reports, primarily in German, ideally also in Italian/French

What makes you unique

• Police certificate, category B driver's license
• Several years of professional experience in the field of judicial police and very good knowledge of police tactics and techniques as well as criminal law and criminal procedure law
• Good writing skills, analytical and interdisciplinary way of thinking, ability to handle a high workload and flexibility
• Good active knowledge of two official languages and English; additional linguistic or cultural skills in the relevant field are an asset

The Federal Criminal Police (FCP) of fedpol investigates in criminal proceedings opened by the Confederation against serious crime as well as in other areas of crime within its competence and supports the cantons and foreign authorities operationally in their criminal and judicial police tasks. It is responsible for national and international coordination in various areas of offense and establishes analyses on crime phenomena as well as police reports. The FCP is also the national competence center for the fight against digital crime.
