For our National Programs, we are looking for you, starting immediately or by arrangement, as Subject Matter Expert: Asylum & Migration (80 - 100%, Programmes) What makes your job particularly exciting You independently implement existing projects for the implementation of children's rights in the asylum and migration sector at the project locations you supervise and, together with the team, contribute to achieving the project goals You advise and support authorities, specialist centers, and professionals in the asylum and migration sector in the implementation and anchoring of children's rights and child protection, strengthening their competencies through coaching, training, and practical instruments You bring your expertise in project management, impact orientation, and sustainable financing models into the conception, implementation, and evaluation of new offers and projects You observe developments in the social, asylum, and migration sectors, recognize trends and opportunities, and contribute your expertise to the technical and strategic further development of our portfolio of offers Your place of work is Zürich with assignments throughout German-speaking Switzerland and possibly Romandie / Tessin. Therefore, you appreciate a varied and mobile activity Your wealth of experience You have a university degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, Pedagogy, or a comparable field of study – or an equivalent qualification with corresponding professional experience You have sound knowledge of the social welfare system and its landscape of actors and understand the responsibilities and the interaction between the Confederation, Cantons, and Municipalities, as well as between standard services, specialist centers, and NGOs You bring experience in the areas of children and adolescents, families, asylum, integration, or migration and follow current professional and societal developments in these subject areas You have experience in target-group-oriented advising and training of authorities, specialist centers, or professionals, as well as in supporting change processes. You also think analytically and conceptually and work in a structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented manner You have experience in the planning, steering, and implementation of projects, as well as a good understanding of impact orientation and financing mechanisms in the social or NGO sector You act with diversity sensitivity and participation and have the ability to build relationships with different organizations and persons You communicate with stylistic confidence in German and French and have good English skills.
