Department Head Nursing Cardiology Inpatient Ward 80-100%

As Department Head, you will take responsibility for a versatile inpatient ward of the Clinic for Cardiology with 26 beds at Universitätsspital Zürich. A demanding and varied spectrum of patients awaits you here - from complex cardiological diseases and acute clinical pictures to patients with advanced heart failure and LVAD systems. The Clinic for Cardiology is a nationally and internationally leading center for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The entire spectrum of modern cardiology is represented - including interventional cardiology, structural heart interventions, and rhythmology. An international and multicultural team awaits you, in which different perspectives, experiences, and competencies come together. • You lead and empower a dedicated team of around 30 nursing employees and ensure high-quality care
• You further develop processes in the Shared Governance Team and maintain close cooperation with the clinic for the continuous improvement of patient care
• Through your proactive and cooperative manner, you also promote interface cooperation to ensure smooth processes
• You bring a diploma as a nursing specialist HF/FH, experience in the acute care sector, as well as several years of leadership experience; leadership training at MAS level is an advantage
