Social Pedagogue, FaBe or School Assistant at Schulhaus Kappeli Primar, 19 %

We are looking for a suitable personality as a social pedagogue, FaBe or school assistant as of 1 November 2026 or by arrangement.

Schule Kappeli Primar is a QUIMS school (Quality in multicultural schools) in Kreis 9, Zürich Altstetten. It places great value on promoting a sense of community and views the cultural diversity of its students as an enrichment. The school is centrally located near Lindenplatz in the heart of Altstetten. Additionally, a children's playground offers a popular meeting point for children to play and linger both during school hours and outside of them. Currently, Schule Kappeli Primar consists of 11 kindergartens and 19 primary classes. We operate four kindergarten after-school care centers, three primary after-school care centers, as well as a morning table.

Tasks ##

• Ensuring the duty of supervision and the safety of the children
• Accompanying and supporting the children in everyday life
• Encouraging children to participate in the various offers and activities
• Supporting children in conflicts and helping them to find solutions together
• Perceiving the needs and behavior of the children and reacting appropriately
• Passing on relevant observations and feedback to the childcare team
• Active and reliable cooperation with the existing childcare team

You will support the childcare team during midday for three days (Mon, Tue and Thu from 11:00 to 14:00) in childcare.
We work with an offer structure. This means that different activities as well as opportunities for free play are available to the children in various rooms and outdoor areas.

Good skills for cooperation, resilience and flexibility in thinking and acting are important prerequisites for this work.
You have a social pedagogical degree (FH, HF) or an equivalent education or an apprenticeship as a FaBe, or without a degree but with work experience with children.
