Network Engineer (m/f) 80-100% #

In this demanding and varied role, you are responsible for the planning, operation, and further development of modern network and communication infrastructures. You analyze and resolve complex faults, support the implementation of infrastructure projects, and contribute actively to the optimization and automation of the network landscape. In doing so, you work closely with internal specialist departments, external partners, and various ICT teams.

Your main tasks

• Operation, maintenance, and further development of modern network environments.
• Planning and implementation of network projects as well as technical rollouts.
• Configuration and administration of routing, switching, and security solutions.
• Analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of complex network environments.
• Collaboration on infrastructure and digitalization projects.
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Support of 2nd and 3rd level support.
• Cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.

Your profile:

• Completed vocational training or studies in the field of computer science, systems engineering, telematics, or a comparable specialty.
• Several years of professional experience in the field of network engineering.
• Good knowledge of routing, switching, WLAN, as well as network security.
• Experience with products from leading network manufacturers is an advantage.
• Knowledge in network monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working.
• Enjoyment of working with various contact persons.
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills.
