The Amt für Arbeit (AFA) strengthens the economic and labor location of Zurich -- with around 800 employees at over 20 locations. In the Unemployment Insurance department (ALV / KAST), we ensure that the Federal Act on Mandatory Unemployment Insurance and Insolvency Compensation is implemented uniformly and fairly in the Canton of Zurich. Your tasks: * independent processing of the pre-notifications of short-time work as well as requests for the issuance of reclamation of short-time work compensation * independent processing of bad weather reports * independent processing of diverse insurance cases (sanctions & decrees concerning eligibility) based on the corresponding legal bases * drafting of decrees subject to objection * obtaining the relevant documents as well as conducting interviews with insured persons and employers * contact with the insured, employers, unemployment funds, Regional Employment Centers (RAV) as well as other internal and external bodies * support of the KAE hotline Your profile: * completed 3-year commercial basic training or an equivalent training * at least three years of professional experience in qualified administration in the (social) insurance environment * completed further training in the field of social insurance is an advantage * very proficient user knowledge in MS-Office * stylistically confident (both oral and written) in the German language * adept handling of the various stakeholder groups * logical-analytical thinking skills and an efficient way of working We offer: * meaningful and interesting activity with high personal responsibility * attractive employment conditions according to cantonal guidelines * modern workplace near the Zürich Oerlikon station * possibility of home office * well-developed social benefits according to cantonal personnel law * contribution to catering costs (Lunch-Check) Do you appreciate a lively environment and fair framework conditions?
