As part of a permanent position, we are looking for one of our clients based in Zürich for a:

Warehouse Manager – International Moves

Your Tasks

Warehouse Management

• You are responsible for the daily management and smooth operation of the warehouse.
• You organize and control the incoming and outgoing goods.
• You ensure stock control, inventories, and the monitoring of various material flows.
• You ensure good organization and order at the location.
• You ensure the security and protection of the warehouse.
• You ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.

Coordination

• You coordinate and plan international moving assignments in cooperation with the various partners involved.
• You plan the assignments of the teams consisting of three moving employees as well as local subcontractors.
• You organize the resources required for the smooth execution of the assignments.
• You ensure operational follow-up and contribute to the solution of any unforeseen situations.

Vehicle and Fleet Management

• You plan the use of vehicles according to operational requirements.
• You ensure the control and maintenance of the fleet, consisting of one truck and two vans.
• You ensure the perfect condition and availability of the vehicles.

Operational Activities

Depending on need, you will also undertake the following tasks:

• Occasional participation in moving assignments.
• Carrying out smaller material deliveries.
• Operational support for the teams on site.

Your Profile

• Professional experience in the field of international moves, logistics, or a comparable environment.
• Driving license for trucks – C-CE mandatory.
• Very good knowledge of the logistical environment and the specific requirements in connection with moving assignments.
• Ability to organize and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
• Sense of responsibility, independence, and a strong practical mindset.
• Good communication and coordination skills in dealing with teams, customers, and partners.
• Strong awareness of safety issues and compliance with regulations.

Languages

• German: native language or fluent level.
• English or French: very good, at least bilingual knowledge in one of the two languages is mandatory.
