Graduate Program – AI in the Finance Area (m/f/d) The Graduate Program starts on 1. September 2026 and lasts 18 months. You are permanently employed from the start and work in the Group Finance & Risk area with a focus on topics related to Artificial Intelligence. Zürich Swiss Life AG Living versatility What we offer You work in the Finance Transformation area, the functional home for the further development of our finance organization, and from day one, you will participate in one of the most forward-looking projects: the gradual construction of a modern AI platform for Finance. You are part of a dynamic team that actively translates new technologies into concrete applications. Together, we shape how AI, data, processes, and systems can interact intelligently in a regulated financial environment. Your field of activity combines technological understanding, methodological strength, and business proximity: You work on the conception, development, validation, and further development of modern AI applications – from the idea through initial prototypes to viable solutions for productive use. You work together with colleagues who enjoy penetrating complex issues, making new technologies usable in a responsible manner, and developing solutions together that are professionally relevant, technologically sound, and regulatorily viable. You complete one to two supplementary assignments in another area of 3–6 months each, to expand your perspective and build a broader understanding of our company. Additionally, there is the possibility for a short international assignment of approx. 3–4 weeks. We offer you individually tailored internal training and further education opportunities so that you can specifically develop your professional, technical, and methodological skills. You will be personally accompanied by a mentor and benefit from regular exchange formats that support your development and networking. Living potentials Your strengths You have a recently completed Master's degree with very good results – ideally in Computer Science, alternatively in another STEM subject such as Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or Data Science with a strong technical focus. You bring initial practical experience in dealing with AI, for example through studies, hackathons, internships, or professional specializations – ideally in the areas of Machine Learning, Large Language Models, or Natural Language Processing. You are interested in how AI can be used responsibly, effectively, and scalably in the Finance and Risk environment. You enjoy understanding new technologies, critically classifying their possibilities, and translating them into concrete solutions together with professional and IT experts. You have an analytical and structured way of thinking and can prepare complex technical contexts comprehensibly. You work with initiative, reliability, and in a team-oriented manner and like to take responsibility in an environment that is developing dynamically. You bring a high willingness to learn and have the ambition not only to understand new knowledge theoretically but to apply it in a practical manner.
