Multitasking, responsibility, meaningfulness - Welcome to the largest emergency dispatch center in Switzerland! To reinforce our team, we are looking for a networked-thinking, committed personality as of 1 February 2027 or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

• You dispatch the rescue services in the cantons of Zürich, Schaffhausen, Zug as well as Schwyz and apply the legal and operational requirements in doing so.
• You alert the fire departments and civil protection in the canton of Zürich as well as numerous other specialist institutions, the large animal rescue service, etc.
• You have an overview of all rescue forces in operation as well as the free resources available to you for further alerts.
• You recognize underserved regions in the dispatch area and react to them proactively and adequately to ensure rescue service supply at all times.
• You communicate clearly, friendly, and purposefully and maintain a partnership-based and solution-oriented cooperation within the emergency dispatch center and with our partners.

Profile ##

• A completed training as Dipl. Rettungssanitäter*in HF (mandatory requirement)
• Operational experience in the dispatch area of our emergency dispatch center as well as knowledge of the legal foundations of the rescue services
• The ability to correctly assess situations based on facts, draw the right conclusions from them, make decisions, and derive conscious actions from them (triage, prioritize, delimit)
• Confident appearance, a team-oriented way of working as well as strong communication skills and dispatching skill

In addition, civil protection, fire police, and a training center with an affiliated Higher Vocational School for Rescue Professions (HFRB) belong to the largest civilian rescue organization in Switzerland. Intervention and prevention units protect and rescue people, animals, material values, and the environment around the clock in the city of Zürich, at Flughafen Zürich, and in the agglomeration.
