Material Manager Procurement (m/f/d)

Ref. no.:  CH01303 Employment type:  Full-time Contract type:  Permanent contract WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FOR YOU As Material Manager Procurement (m/f/d), you ensure that all necessary materials and components are available on time and in the required quality and quantity to guarantee timely production of customer products. Your tasks in detail: • Ensuring material availability along the entire supply chain, from ordering to delivery • Analysis of bottlenecks, derivation of measures, cross-team coordination and implementation of these to ensure delivery capability • Independent monitoring, prioritization and escalation of critical materials and delivery delays • Central contact person for important stakeholders  • Close coordination with the commodity group procurement and project procurement, planning, production preparation, logistics and production • Leading and participating in shopfloor and escalation meetings, presentation of status reports from procurement • Creation of reports, key figures (e.g. material availability, missing parts, delivery dates) and recommendations for action • Support in the implementation of delivery reliability targets within the supply chain WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING • Completed technical vocational training or commercial basic training with technical further training (e.g. Technical Merchant (m/f/d) with federal diploma) • Further training in procurement (e.g. Procurement Specialist (m/f/d) with federal diploma) is an advantage • Several years of professional experience in the area of procurement, material management or supply chain in a manufacturing industrial company • Sound knowledge in dealing with SAP (module MM/PP) as well as proficient use of MS Excel, BI-Intelligence is an advantage • Analytical thinking skills and a structured way of working with a simultaneous hands-on mentality • Strong communication skills and assertiveness in dealing with internal interfaces and external partners • High sense of responsibility, proactive way of working and resilience even in dynamic situations • Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form WHAT WE OFFER YOU • A dynamic working environment with exciting projects • Flexible working hours (flexitime and trust-based working hours) • Very good social benefits and an above-mandatory pension fund • Employee benefits of a large corporation, employee stock purchase program • Promotion of demand-oriented further training • Staff restaurant as well as external catering and shopping possibilities nearby • Individual internal as well as external personnel development measures in cooperation with our Rheinmetall-Academy • Workplace a few minutes' walk from the Zürich-Oerlikon train station We need your consent to load the YouTube service! ### In order to play YouTube videos, a connection to YouTube must be established.
