Amt für Städtebau

For the Parliamentary Affairs & Support department, we are looking for a service-oriented leader to start immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks

• You lead the Parliamentary Affairs & Support department personally and professionally.
• You advise, support, coordinate, and perform quality assurance tasks in the processing of parliamentary business and (political) initiatives of the Amt für Städtebau.
• You advise, support, and perform quality assurance tasks in the procurement process (tendering procedures and contract management) of the Amt für Städtebau.
• You lead cross-disciplinary projects and actively participate in them.
• You are responsible for infrastructural topics in the Amt für Städtebau (spatial and material responsibility).

Profile

• University degree preferably in law, business administration, or political science
• Profound knowledge of political processes and parliamentary procedures on the one hand, and public procurement law on the other
• Experience in a public administration
• Leadership experience, ideally with leadership training
• Experience in procurement, ideally with additional training
• Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to present complex matters precisely and understandably and to communicate in a target-group-oriented manner
• Experience in project management and a strong understanding of processes
• Structured and precise way of working
• Interdisciplinary, networked, and future-oriented thinking and acting
• Resilience and ability to work in a team
• High motivation and willingness to advocate for the interests of the city within the tension between politics and administration
