Head of Nursing & Care (100%) – Member of the Executive Board The Alters- und Pflegezentrum Herrenbergli, as a typical neighborhood and elderly center with a focus on long-term care, is open to 97 residents. Over one hundred qualified employees from the areas of nursing and care, activation, hotel management, kitchen, service, facility management, and administration work with joy and commitment to ensure that our residents feel comfortable at Herrenbergli. We are a private non-profit institution that is managed independently and economically, and thus does not belong to the elderly centers of the City of Zurich. Head of Nursing & Care (100%) – Member of the Executive Board As part of our succession planning, we are looking for a committed, responsible, and dynamic personality as Head of Nursing & Care as well as Member of the Executive Board, starting October 1, 2026, or by arrangement. These are your tasks In this key position, you bear the overall operational responsibility for the nursing and care area with around 70 employees. You ensure smooth processes and guarantee high-quality nursing services. With your strong organizational skills, you always maintain an overview and coordinate the various processes efficiently, purposefully, and across departments. The continuous further development and securing of nursing quality is close to your heart. Likewise, the training of our nursing successors, whom you build up and constantly develop further together with our cooperation partners and vocational training managers. You promote constructive, interdisciplinary, and interprofessional cooperation and work closely with an established and competent nursing team. As a member of the Executive Board, you actively contribute to strategic topics, represent your area convincingly, and drive new projects forward with foresight and initiative. To succeed in your daily work, you possess a completed education as a nursing professional at tertiary level (HF / FH) as well as further training in the field of leadership. Several years of sound leadership experience distinguish you, as do your business administration knowledge, which enables you to represent your area of responsibility securely even at a strategic level. Your high social competence makes you a valued contact person for residents, relatives, and employees. You work in a structured manner, act in a solution-oriented way, and convince through technical up-to-dateness as well as clear, factual communication.
