To strengthen our team, we are looking for a school assistant in childcare at MAH Buchwiesen 1 as of 17.08.2026 or by arrangement. Tasks ## • Predominantly domestic tasks, including cleaning the kitchen and preparing meals in compliance with catering guidelines and safety and hygiene regulations • Maintenance, tidying up and providing materials (e.g. toys etc.) • Accompanying on excursions and simpler guidance of groups and/or individual students in the holiday childcare (Ferienhort) • You perform the workload of 29 % on 2 days per week as follows: Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 am - 3:30 pm • During the following holiday weeks, you will work Monday to Friday for 7.5 hours per day: 1. week spring holidays, 2. week autumn holidays and both weeks Christmas holidays (weeks are fixed and cannot be swapped) Profile ## • Good German language skills (level at least B2, level C1 an advantage) and basic PC user skills (e.g. Word, Outlook) • Patience and resilience • Good communication skills, openness to new and surprising situations, confident appearance • Good social skills, ability to work in a team and flexibility • Confidentiality and discretion towards the outside, as well as willingness to undergo further training in pedagogical topics We offer ## • A varied, versatile and independent activity • A multicultural, exciting environment • Competent support from the childcare management and the head of childcare • Progressive salary and social benefits according to the guidelines of the Department of Schools and Sports of the City of Zurich (Horte) Apply Apply About us ## We are a large school community in Zürich-Nord with 19 schools.
