As a Product Owner in the field of Clinical Special Systems, you will actively shape the digital future of central clinical core processes at Universitätsspital Zürich. Your contribution lies in precisely understanding clinical needs and translating them into impactful, practical digital solutions that sustainably improve everyday life in intensive care medicine, anesthesia, and neonatology. You will work closely with specialist departments as well as IT and architecture teams and develop the PDMS and surrounding systems in a targeted manner. In doing so, you combine clinical expertise, technological possibilities, and strategic goals into user-oriented solutions with real added value. Our over 8'600 employees and around 700 trainees commit themselves daily to the well-being of our patients. ### Your main tasks • Functional and content responsibility for products and services surrounding the PDMS • Analyzing and understanding clinical needs and translating them into features and user stories • Maintenance and prioritization of the team backlog • Close cooperation with clinics as well as IT, architecture, and other application teams • Co-shaping the product vision and roadmap and ensuring user-oriented and consistent product development • Participation in PI Plannings, ART Events, and the further development of clinical processes • Readiness for 7x24 support as well as on-call duty Your profile • Training or studies in computer science, business informatics, life sciences, or a clinical background • Several years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager in an IT or software environment • Experience in providing digital products as well as handling complex requirements and their translation into user stories and features • Experience with agile methods (Scrum, SAFe, or comparable) and proficient in backlog and stakeholder management • Ability to prioritize according to business value, user needs, and technical framework conditions • High communication strength and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary stakeholders (specialist departments, IT, architecture) • Interest in clinical processes / hospital environment and willingness to familiarize yourself with the domain; very good German and good English skills Our benefits We look forward to your application Daniel Buschor Recruiting About the USZ Universitätsspital Zürich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland.
