Kinderhaus: Childcare Specialist or Childhood Educator 80% ## As of 1 November 2026 or by arrangement The Inselhof is a competence center for children, mothers and stressed families with complementary (semi-)residential and outpatient services for different needs. The Kinderhaus comprises four residential groups for eight children each aged 0-9 years, who were placed due to a measure by the Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB). The internal playgroup, the preschool, psychotherapy and the painting studio complete the range of services. What you bring with you: ### • Recognized qualification as a Childcare Specialist EFZ with several years of professional experience or Childhood Educator HF • Knowledge of (residential) child protection, or willingness to acquire this knowledge • Interest and passion for working with complex family systems and motivation to support children in their development in a trauma-sensitive manner • Humor and composure, which you do not lose even in demanding situations, as well as motivation to develop professionally and personally • Enjoyment of interprofessional cooperation Your tasks: ### • Co-design and organization of daily group life • Coordinated cooperation within the team and with psychotherapists, parents and external systems (e.g., kindergarten, school, legal guardians, KESB) • Infant and toddler care • Participation in group and cross-group camps • Participation in team meetings, supervisions and trauma-pedagogical intervisions • Weekend shifts, irregular working hours between 7:00 and 21:00 and three to four night shifts (on-call on site) per month • Housekeeping and administrative activities What you can look forward to: ### • Versatile, exciting and meaningful work (incl. a careful induction) • Working according to trauma pedagogy • An open, humorous and supportive team as well as various opportunities for exchange/events • Opportunities for design in pedagogical work and the further development of the services • Remuneration according to cantonal guidelines as well as allowances for evening, weekend and night work • 5 weeks of vacation plus 11.5 public holidays and shift relief days per year • Good accessibility by public transport and bicycle • Various other benefits can be found on our website Have we aroused your interest in this position?
