Do you want to not only operate existing networks but also actively further develop modern datacenter and security solutions? In this responsible role, you will take on a key position within a complex enterprise environment and work on infrastructures that place the highest demands on availability, security, and performance. In doing so, you will help shape architectural decisions, drive automation forward, and take responsibility for central network platforms. Job Description ## \- You plan, design, and implement demanding projects in the environment of Datacenter Network, Network Security, and adjacent systems. - You take technical responsibility for a modern Cisco ACI network landscape as well as the associated load balancer infrastructure. - You actively further develop network automation and use modern technologies and methods for this, ideally with Ansible and Git. - You develop technical concepts, architectural specifications, and operating standards and ensure high-quality system and operational documentation. - You continuously analyze, optimize, and further develop existing network and security solutions. - You support 3rd level support, analyze complex malfunctions, and ensure sustainable solutions. - You perform periodic on-call service in a cycle of around six to eight weeks. - You advise internal stakeholders at eye level and develop practical solutions for demanding technical questions. We expect ## • Completed studies at university of applied sciences level in computer science, network technology, or a comparable education. • Several years of experience in the Cisco Enterprise or Service Provider environment. • Profound knowledge of Cisco ACI with practical experience in design, configuration, and operation of modern datacenter networks. • Experience in the area of routing, switching, network security, and highly available network architectures. • Interest in automation, modern infrastructure platforms, as well as new network and security technologies. • Joy in critically questioning existing solutions and continuously developing them further. • Conceptual way of thinking as well as the ability to communicate complex technical topics understandably. • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working. • Very good German skills as well as good English skills.
